ZVolume Home 2006 4.0

If you are tired of using the Windows volume control, or if you feel it doesn’t give you easy access to adjusting your sound card volume, you might want to try ZVolume Home 2006. When using the program, you can display the volume controls on top of the other windows from your desktop, by right clicking the program’s tray icon and selecting “Always on top” mode. The nice thing is that you can also configure keyboard shortcuts, either for controlling the volume, or for controlling other applications from your computer (for example you can “press” Winamp’s play button). If you access the program’s settings dialog, and you select plugins, you’ll see all the applications for which hotkeys can be defined.

The differences between this program and the Windows volume controller, is that the ‘Pepsi Volume Controller’ has a ‘Pepsi’ skin and the progress bar display the progress in numbers from 0 to 100. If you are a ‘Pepsi’ lover, you’ll like this program. A plus to this program is that you can keep it in top of all other applications. If you are bored with the old volume control from Windows, you might try this program.
