UltraMixer Professional 2.3.7.1

UltraMixer Free Edition is a virtual digital mixer designed to help you mix a large variety of audio files (mp1, mp2, mp3, ogg, wav, mo3, it, xm, s3m, mtm, mod, umx, cda, wma, mid, flac, aiff, aif, m4a, lnk, m3u). During the setup process, you can choose to install AAC/M4A support for UltraMixer in order to be able to play non-DRM iTunes files. This requires an Internet connection, since the additional files will be downloaded.

When you first run the program, a message will appear telling you that you can test the program (the professional version) in the next 20 days or 40 startups without any restriction. After this period, the program will start automatically as a free edition (with less features).

The program appears to be dedicated for beginner DJs. I mean, it has enough features to power up a flat party, but it has only some basic functionalities. You can mix successfully two tracks, add samples with fading and effects. You can add your own samples to the list of existing ones. You can also calculate a track’s BPM, but you need to synchronize your tracks manually. A nice feature is the ‘Auto DJ’ – when selecting this option, the program does the tasks automatically. You can also talk into your microphone in order to spice up the atmosphere.

The user interface is very well designed. It’s also very easy to use due to the intuitive controls and features. In case you want to, you can choose to use the shortcut keys for every functionality. The playlists can be saved and the program also keeps a history of the tracks played.
