Digital Audio Editor 7.9.11 Build 655
Digital Audio Editor is a powerful and easy to use software offering lots of editing options for your audio data.
It can be used for recording voice using a microphone or other input devices, music from Internet radio stations, CD, DVD, or other sources and you can edit audio data visually, meaning that you can cut, copy and paste a selection, mix from file, delete silence and so on. You can make use of the selection tool at the bottom of the window, if you need very precise selections to work with. Waves can be viewed in waveform mode as well as the spectral mode and can be analyzed with the frequency analyzer.
Digital Audio Editor is a handy tool for amateurs who want to transform their music by applying a lot of effects and filters this software offers, like Amplify, Compressor, Delay, Equalize, Fade In and Fade Out, Flanger, Invert, Normalize, Phaser, Reverb, Reverse, HighPassFilter, LowPassFilter , NotchFilter, etc. Yet applying an effect on a large file, e.g. the Pitch Shift Effect, may take a while, so I’d recommend installing at least 1GB of RAM on your system. If something goes wrong while editing a file, there’s always the back button to the rescue.
This editor also enables you to convert different audio formats (mp2, mp3, wav, wma, ogg) from one to another, split or combine mp3 files, so it’s pretty much of an all-in-one solution for editing audio.
The evaluation version doesn’t allow you to save any modification on the file.
