Artisan DivX/DVD Player is a free multimedia player, designed to support formats such as: DVD and DivX files, supports AVI, MPEG, WMV, ASF, MP3, JPEG, and GIF formats. 
The has quite basic features, but in order to be a competitive player, there have to be made lots of improvements. The program plays a DVD immediately after inserting it into the optical drive, but beside the basic control and screen size, there are no option. You cannot manually add VOB files to the playlist or browse between chapters.
